Starting new sump project.

I am removing my canister filter and going with a sump. If my main tank cannot be drilled am I going to have a flood risk?

Is there anyway to avoid this?

Drilling is easy. If that is simply not an option, you can have a siphon overflow, but there is always the chance of a break or blockage causing failure.

Not to steal the thread, but can you drill a tank while it is full?

you *CAN*, but its not a good idea obviously
