So I just finished building a 24"W x 18"D x 16"H starphire tank. I am in the process of having a stand built and building the sump. I have all the equipment basically except I am on the fence about what type of lighting to get for this. I have about a month before the cabinet maker will be done with the stand, so I have been trying to figure this out with no luck.
I made this tank for my gf because she wants to have a pair of clowns and an anemone. Basically I am either looking at something along the lines of a JBJ K-2 Viper 150w MH clip-on light or a Tek Light 24" 4x 24w T5 setup. I am trying to keep costs relatively down, so the K-2 is actually more appealing, but I'd like to hear other peoples opinions on this matter or if someone has a better suggestion in the same price range I'd appreciate it.
