Starting to take shape

The stand is slowly starting to take shape. Here is a shot of the skeleton, no bracing yet, just framed. And a shot of my friend about to run another bead. nevermind the blurry, can't hold my phone still enough for a good shot.

That thing is huge...How big is your tank?????

Actually, the pic shows it on it's side. It is a little over 300 gallons. 8 feet long, 25 1/2" high and 30" front to back. Starfire glass and will be a pennensula. Have to knock out a wall to put it in. Guess I need to get busy on the wall.

Believe it or not, which I still can't, the stand is unbelievably square. I thought it would be a little warped, but nope. All the joints will have 3" X 1/8" gussets (as soon as it warms up a bit). I used 14g square tubing for all the horizontal and 11g for the verticals. It's getting there, just sorta slow.
