Nismo- if it's for Automatic water changes the fixed rate vs adjustable rate is cheaper and easy to use with a controller or a digital timer.

This is the fixed rate 170. All 170 are the same. What changes is tubing it comes with. 170gpd is for both heads, so for AWC you would get max of 85 gpdhttp://http://www.lockewell.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_6_31_38

Dr. Thompson and I use the 100DMP4-it does max of 35 gpd. Enough for me. I change 1% of my water daily which is like 2gpd. Total of 30% month. Controlled by Apex to do 2 one gallon changes per day.
