A friend called and said he has a 55 gallon tank with a undergravel he used for freshwater and he had no use for it. He said either i take it or he would smash it with a hammer for fun. Well obviously i had to take it. So i had offered it to joe since i have no use for. However i just got a yellow watchman goby and a few days later (today) he died of mouth rot or something. So i think im gonna set it up as a qt. However i dont want a 55 gallon qt.. So does ne one have and be willing to trade for a smaller one. I kinda would like a 20 or 30 but worst case a ten. If i dont hear nething i might have to give it to joe. So let me know plz. (joe, if ya read this srry that i asked u and now am withdrawing my offer)

Native American presenter. That sucks about the Goby. Do they have a guarantee? If you want a ten, I have one for you. nothing in the 20-30 range though. BTW, if it makes you feel better, I bought a hawkfish two days ago, and ABSOLUTELY cannot find him in the tank. I'm still hopeful that he's hiding, but I'm afraid he dove into the wire tangle abyss behind my tank.

Carefull with tanks that used to be used for fresh water. Many times people with freshwater tanks use heavy metal treatments for disease.(actual metals not music, lol) These heavy metals such as copper can leak into the silicon and with a salt water tank slowly leak back out. Just incase you didn't know.

i always hear talking about copper but didnt think much of it thanks for the tip ....ill have to test it for copper....

and joe if i dont get a it on a 20-30 ill take the ten...i just want something a little bigger for my fish. especially if i get the perc pairs....

well so much for that..just got word the tank broke inroute!!! GREAT so i think imma hit the papers up for a free/really really cheap tank!

craigslist! bet you find something there.

copper treatmens shouldn't matter f you are using t as qt/hospital for only your fish

Ugh sorry to hear about the tank en route. you'll find 20's and 30's to be a commodity for some reason. I think it's because those sizes are overlooked in lieu of the 55's.
