Hey guys I am looking for suggestions on a stock list. The tank is deep blues "frag" tank. Two feet by two feet and one foot high. I am looking for any input. Jumpers are something I need to be very. Carefully of as I used to have a similar tank and lost many to the carpet.
So far this is what I have come up with
A pair of clarkii
On cardinal
Black blenny

I am looking for something to really bring the tank to life. To actively swim all about the tank. Something like an anthis would. Any other suggestions would be great. Don't worry about fish bio load.

Clarkii can get big and aggressive. I'd get a flasher wrasse and put a top on the tank.

A top is out of the question. Flashers are awesome tho. Keep the input comin guys

It is not a question if a fish will jump, but a question of when it will. Most, if not all, fish will jump at some point. No way to prevent fish losses from jumping other than a 1/4" mesh screen top over the tank.

Is there a reason why a top is completely out of the question?

keep in mind all fish jump not just those that are labeled as jumpers.

It's a one foot tall rimless tank that I made sure nothing would come ofer the top of the tank. Drilled holes for return and drain, got mp10s, pendant lights, shortish stand. It's ment to be viewed from the top just as much as the sides. Even made a real fancy top down box. Not to be stubborn or a pain but it's just the way I designed the tank.

Couldn't you just remove the tops when you are viewing the tank from the top, or in the same room as the tank? Then put the tops on when you are away from the tank? This would mean that you are by the tank if a fish jumps and could get the fish back in the tank before it dies. Just a thought.
