i want to stock my 75 reef ready with 29 gallon sump and euroreef skimmer. i have 100 lbs of LR and 4x54 t5 lighting. i need suggestions on what to put in it and keep a moderate bioload. any input?
Coral. Some coral need target feeding and the more fish you have the harder to do this. Also think of fish as another tool used for tank condition. I have a sandsifting goby and he keeps SB nice and clean. Then some omnivores for algea control and maybe another fish or two for visual display but i reef tank is for coral and overstocking makes it harder to control water quality. I would add some CUC then wait a wekk or 2 then add a fish or coral then another 2 weeks add more CUC and another coral.Take time with the fish as there are so many unique species that it pays to take it slow on fish.Look here.
I am also in the planning stages for our 75 (not setting it up till MAY). We are going with a DORY and a copperband along with a couple clowns and chromis a PJ cardinal. We will have a BTA going in and about 80LBS of LR. A cleaner shrimp and CUC. We will also have some softies a Frogspawn and open brains etc.
