I have a 36 gallon fluval m90 tank.

current stock:
1 green chromis
1 firefish
1 randalls goby
1 tailspot blenny


i was wondering if i could add a pair of yellow clown gobies, or just one. is there any way to get a pair? and difference between sexes?

Tagging along. I myself want to know if I can house a couple yellow clown gobies in a nano tank

IME Clown Gobies are surprising jumpers. Also they don't mix well with SPS.

Stocking 36 gallon

No differences between sexes and they are one of the rare genus that are both protogenous and protandrous hermaphrodites... Otherwise said they can change from male to female and vice versa.

Apparently sometimes they damage corals but I never had that problem, with favia, porites , turbinaria, catalaphylla , scolymnia ,cynarina, caulastrea, ricordia and other mushrooms...

not planning on keeping too many sps. just a birdsnest or 2 and maybe a monti cap

i have a brs 1/4" screen top (hence my other gobies)

Two's fine, it's not like they pollute a whole lot. You just have to make sure you have enough oxygen in the tank for everyone that's all.
