Stocking 75g question...

I recently took over a 4 year old established 48" 75g tank. It is going to be a mixed reef w/ sps, lps and zoos. I have about 75lbs of LR and a G1x for skimmer. When I took over the tank it already had an blue tang, a brown scopas tang and a scooter blenny. I do know that this is really pushing it for a 75g tank as far as the tangs. I plan to give away/trade the blue tang very soon.

However, I would like to add more fish in the mean time or as soon as I find a new home for one of the tangs.

Do you think I could add a mystery wrasse and a diamond spotted goby to clean up the sand a bit? Also will I have room for any more live stock if I do?

Thanks for your help.

I think you have plenty of room for several "small" fish.

The Tangs "might" be pushing it depending on their size.
But actually a lot of people do it. Some people have even gotten 3 to work in 75 gallon tanks. As long as you have an option for upgrading at some point.(for the tangs)

As long as there is plenty of rock work to hide in and give the smaller fish a safe recluse they'll settle in fine.

I have a McCoskers Wrasse if your interested. (beautiful)

Just in case-
Check out my for sale deal post....seperating contents of my 125 gallon.

I had a pair of ocellaris clowns, a powder blue tang, flame angel, mandarin, and a firefish in my tank all living together happily in my 75g.

You should be fine adding a few more fish to your tank.
