My second tank has finished cycling and I plant to move 2 ocellaris clownfish, 1 purple firefish, 1 tailspot blenny, 2 yellowtail damsels, and 1 cleaner skunk shrimp. I have lots of live rock in the tank about 3 inches of live sand.

I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions for maybe an additional 1 or 2 more fishes that could get along with my current live stock.

I would like something that is peaceful (or atleast will get along with my current fish) and that is active and colorful (not like my blenny and firefish that hide all day).

Tank is a 40 gallon.

Hey erik7281 I have a 40 gallon too and you can put one mandrain or two chromis in there I was told you cant put to much more in your tank unless you go bigger ha. Hope this helps you

I would love to put in a mandarin but I dont think I have copepods or any live stuff in my tank that he could eat.

I was thinking about a royal gamma....i have heard mixed stories about them so i am not too sure.

I say go for it with the royal gamma.. if the fish go after it they will do that for a little while about a month tops they will be happy with the new fish

How long have your tank been running?

I been running the tank for 3 months now only with one damsel and a cleaner shrimp. I also used the sand and rocks from a previous tank.

Does anyone have experience with royal Hamas? I've heard they are very skittish... I just want to be able to look at and enjoy the fish. Or what about a lyretail anthias?
