Im still deciding what fish and coral and inverts i want in my new 30 gallon nano tank. I am open to suggestions! I want to have a deep sand bed and 30 pounds of rock) Thank you all so much for your support in this hobby!!!
Here are some options::fish1:

Fish:
2 ocellaris clowns
yellow prawn goby
purple firefish
royal gramma basslet
Taispot blenny
Rainsford's Goby (maybe)

Coral:
White pulsing xenia (on a isolated rock)
Bubble coral
ultra Zoas (the ones that look amazing on blue LEDS)
Torch Coral
Acans
chalice
Duncan
red mushrooms
Torch or Frogspawn.

Inverts (the CUC is from reef cleaners and is the 30 gallon breeder)
Sand sifting conch (3-4 in sand bed)
red sea star (eventually, once the tank is mature)
2 pepermint shrimp
edible sea cucumber or tiger tail cucumber.
1 emerald crab
I dont plan on any hermits

You should get some blue legged hermits, they are good ones.

I HATE my peppermint shrimp. They eat feather dusters and really **** me off.

I like most of the fishes on your list. The goby you listed is supposedly difficult to feed, so I would be hesitant to try one in a small tank. The others are all great choices, although that would be a lot of fish for a 30 gallon. You will want to go slow adding fish.

The corals you listed are all hardy, provided you have acceptable salinity, alk, ca, and mg parameters. What's your plan for lighting?

Most people that added xenia to their tank regret it. You will want to be very careful that it doesn't spread out of control.

That's a big fish bio-load in a 30 gallon tank, consider limiting it to 2 ocellaris clowns, yellow prawn goby, purple firefish and maybe a royal gramma basslet.

I think Im going to take rainsford's goby off the list. I might take tailspot blenny of the list just because its the only herbivore and it would make feeding easier to just feed an omnivore diet. Hopefully that will reduce the Bio-load :)

Current list:
Clowns (2)
purple firefish
yellow prawn goby
royal gramma basslet

I would take one more fish off the list, I think with two clowns four fish should be your max

Ok, out of my fish list, which fish do you guys think is the most hard to take care of, a finicky eater or not disease resistant.

(fish list)
clowns(2)
purple firefish
yellow prawn goby
royal gramma basslet

I have a 28g and tried a firefish with my two clowns and royal gramma in the tank. Did not work out. Firefish was very timid and hung in the middle of the water column which the gramma and clowns deemed to be theirs. They fought a lot. I took out the firefish and things settled down. So maybe take that one off the list, as they need a really peaceful environment. The gramma can be territorial.
