Stocking advice for 34g DT please!

I wanted some opinions and ideas on possible next fish for my 34 gallon dt tank + 9 gallon sump. I mainly want a variety of color, personalities, and variety of where they like to hang out. In terms of future coral, I am planning on softies and lps only.

I wonder if all these fish will be happy together?
If that is to many fish?
If I have to add them in some specific order?
if anyone has better suggestions for possible fish?

Currently I have:
2x - Clownfish
2x - turbo snail
2x - trochus snail
2x - tiny crabs

Thinking of adding:
1x - Yellow Clown Goby
1x - Orchid Dottyback
1x - Undecided, thinking about a tailspot blenny.

Does your tank have a canopy? Have you thought about adding any wrasse in there? You can definitely get a lot of color with those. But I would be careful adding one if you do not have a canopy because they can be jumpers.

I do not have a top on it. I always hear wrasse are a bit aggressive?

I forgot to mention it's bare bottom too!

your list looks fine. I am curious how a tailspot would do with a dottyback. I would say certain wrasse's are not bad and no more aggressive than a dottyback. 6 line wrasse would be a good fit for that size tank.

There are a lot of non-aggressive wrasse. The six line is definitely not one of them. Red marginal wrasse is one and not too expensive. If you want a wrasse and super colorfully look at the Flame Wrasse

Maybe slight correction on the six line. If you want to add any other wrasse, do not get a six line. Just my experience with them.

I like the tailspot blenny, I've been thinking about one as well. Have you considered a Royal Gramma? Beautiful, peaceful fish.

I guess some people have had bad experiences with 6 lines but mine has been with me going on 6 years and has never pestered anything in the tank. He cleans my lager fish once in a great while, eats pods and probably some small fire worms eats like a champ whenever I feed the tank never touched a feather duster, clam or coral so at least in my experience they are good tank mates. I also have never added another wrasse to my tank so I do not know how they would get along. I do agree above though there are many fairy wrasse etc. That are more colorful and size compatible.

How big is the tank your 6-line is in? Do you have a picture of your tank?
After researching I seem to think that for a 6-line to be happy it needs good rock work to zoom in and out of and to also be well fed, whether it is copepods or multi-feedings. My gf was in love with the orchid dottyback but now is cheering for the wrasse instead -__-

o.o I haven't heard of a royal gramma, but it looks like a good possibility! I wonder which is more peaceful between that and the dottyback?

Royal grammas are more peaceful and dottybacks are known to snack on shrimp and other crustaceans. So, if you have any shrimp or crabs that you care about, I would be cautious of dottybacks.

you could also consider the bi-color blenny! more colorful than the tailspot imo, though all blennies got really cool personalities

My tank is a 180 and there are some pics in my albums so it's not much of a comparison to your 34 but I originally had him in a 40 gallon breeder while I was getting the 180 ready and had no issues with him
