stocking and care questions

Hello, so I had a few questions about stocking my aquarium and questions about the care of the chosen animals.

My tank is actually 6 years old but, as of the last 6 months it's been completely void of fish and only contains blue leg hermit crabs, a few various snails, and a monster sized ruby crab named Bimo. The tank is a 40 gallon breeder with a 2-3 inch and bed and several pounds of live rock. I'm still in the process of moving the rocks around as I didn't like my previous aquascape. There are also several money plants and mermaid fans. I have a 30 gallon sump/refugium for the tank as well and it is overflowed with chaeto, calurpa and ulva algaes and it has a 5 inch sand bed. In the next week or so I will be placing a new return pump in the tank that will do at least 1000GPH. I already have a 250GPH and an 800GPH powerhead and I may add one more 800. All my water parameters are 0 and my ph is 8.2, and I have T5 lighting.

For fish I wanted to try to do 3-5 larger sized fish instead of several small ones. Some of my ideas are mostly dwarf angels, clowns and butterflyfish.

The dwarf angel I wanted to try was the lemonpeel angel. I've had about 4 dwarf angels, 2 were coral beauties, a midnight and a ebli so I wanted to try something different. If anyone has any other suggestions that'd be nice. If the lemonpeel isn't a good idea should I try the midnight again?

The butterflyfish is a big question. I've heard that a lot are difficult to feed. I wanted to try a pearlscale butterfly but, if they are difficult or if there are easier and prettier fish I'd like to hear the suggestions.

I want a clown, and possibly and anemone(doubt it), but I don't want the typical perc/False-perc. I had my eye on a pink skunk but, I'd appreciate other suggestions or comments from people who own them.

Besides those three I'm stumped : (. Anyone have any ideas? I'd prefer the fish to be around 4inches but, other than that I'm open to ideas.

If you don't have or want coral the lemonpeel would be pretty cool. If you want to keep coral look up the cherub and flameback. Both really cool and typically leave coral alone.
