Stocking Ideas for 250gal cube - Predator tank

I picked up a 250 Starfire cube that will be a predator tank. Dimensions 4ft x 4ft x 26".

Any ideas for stock? Eels, lions, sharks, rays?
Any special considerations I need to worry about for predators? Other than the fact they eat the CUC.

As for sharks, what else would be acceptable other than Coral Cat Sharks?

this may sound funny but i dont think you have a big enough tank for big predators. i have a 300 cube, same dimensions but 31 deep. i think even a small shark would look silly in it. my biggest fish now is a 5 inch long angel and that seems to be a good size for the tank. any fish near a foot long would make the tank look small and seem crowded to my eye. that all being said there are plenty of predators in the 5 to 8 inch range you could put in. there are some groupers that stay in that size range, larger hawkfish, midsized wrasses, smaller lions anything but volitans, anglers, also some of the smaller ees like snowflakes would probably match this size range. again its just my opinion but remember to take into account the full size that the fish will reach.

Okay, thanks for the tips, I'll look into those preds. I see your point about the sharks, I'll cross those off the list :)

Interesting thread, I was gonna set up a 48" reef tank a while ago, but decided to wait and plan for the future a 48x48x24 fish only cube...

Got pics guys?
