In the past I have had BTA's, but have no nems currently. My 12 yr old daughter says she really wants me to get a nem again. She loves watching them. I told her I could not in this tank cause the fish will eat it. Then I read somewhere that the clownfish would defend the nem. So I am asking here for eveyone's opinion on this.
Can I safely add an anemone/with clownfish in this tank? Or is it a disaster waiting to happen for the poor nem.
Tank currently has a one Pakistan butterfly, with Latticed in QT and a Tinkers coming this week. Also plan on adding a double saddle and maybe a pearlscale butterfly, Singapore angel, trio of flame angels.
Will the clownfish be able to defend the nem without killing themselves trying to constantly defend it's anemone? Will the butterfly's and angels end up eating the nem anyway? If it would work, what kind of clown would be best in this situation?
