I have 2 clowns a small yellow gobie a pistol shrimp and some assorted frags. what would be some good additions? I want more movement in the tank and bright colors but want peaceful fish that will get along, 90 gallons a little over 2 months old

Could be a little risky but with a 90 gallon you might get away with it. They are good swimmers and imo beautiful.

Royal gramma, purple or red Firefish, Anthais, all peaceful, great colours.

Wrasses are a nice choice. Fairy or anampses are usually peaceful.

Agree with above. Fairy of flasher wrasse. Flame or coral beauty. Trio of anthias.

You say a trio, are some fish better to stock in multiples??

Yes, they are. There is a user name OrionN here on RC that actually told me about keeping 3 coral beauty's or 3 flames. I think he has 3 flames right now, which would be an awesome sight. Anthias do well in odd numbers. 1 male and then either 2 or 4 female anthias sort of thing. Many say tangs do well in odd numbers as well.

Is it hard to tell male from female in most fish?? I am told when clowns pair the female will be bigger. but what about other species?
