Keeping alkalinity stable makes them grow like crazy, same with giving them some pellet food every so often :)

Thanks! Bought it as a combo rock originally 100 but was 20% off. Im pretty impressed with the yellow one myself. Also is it not advised to feed frozen food? Small mysis shrimp perhaps?

I used to feed mine frozen mysis. I'd place it with tweezers. The hard part was keeping the shrimp from eating the mysis. When I feed they split like crazy. I have one Yuma that is on a 45 degree angle and I could never get him to consume food. He has never split or moved.

Mine are low in the tank and under radion lights that are very bright, they love it.

I have many ricordea and none of them spot feed. The food usually just blows off of them. I do feed the whole tank though and they are healthy so they are getting some food.

Very nice! Be careful, ricordea can be addicting :)

Yea I can see a problem starting here. I love the color. I saw the pink one have a tiny dead starfish about half an inch from its mouth before I left for work.

I always had trouble with yellow. It's the only color I can't grow. (I have every color except pink) I've tried yellow 3X and they always melted. I hope yours do well. I wish I knew why I always fail.

Oyster feast and roe are probably way to small for the ricordea to eat... I might be wrong about that though since their mucus could catch the stuff and they could slurp it up... But florida rics will eat almost anything meaty. Mysid is fine, pellet food is fine, etc. just don't over feed them. They'll take up an impressive amount of food, but overfed, they'll just spit it back up a couple of hours later, undigested.

Man those look great, I have been wanting to get some rics but my lfs never has any for sale! any good places to buy online?
