Stone Crabs

you could try the baited, leaning glass trick. find a tall, glass tumbler and put some meaty bait in it. the crab will drop in to get it but won't be able climb back out. of course, if you have shrimp they'll raid the trap, as could some of your fish. worth a try anyway

seriously doubt they're stone crabs..... Got any pics?

For any crab, the easiest (not quickest) way to get rid of them is to start feeding them from some long tongs. At first they will be skiddish around them but after a few pieces of shrimp over a week or two they will come running when you put the tongs in the tank. After they get used to them just lure them out into the open with the baited tongs and scoop them up with a net or grab them with the tongs.

i kept a gorillia crab for 4 years no problems just keep it fed with table shrimp and it will not bother any fish
