I think it was because the diver intentially started a feeding frenzy directly over the Stonefish to make that happen.

They lured the Triggers in by "chumming" the waters above the Stonefish. You can see them doing so in the video. Wouldn't say its "wack" just a bit cruel. Only a bit, my money was on the stonefish eating regardless...

"Natural Chumming" happens constantly on the reef. Toothy eaters make messes that attract other fish. No big deal.
