I will be in Atlanta Nov 15-25. Do anyone know of the stores in ATL?? Or what forum the Atlanta people post in?????

Check out their sponsor section. I usually go to these stores that I list below since they are around 15 miles of each other. They usually receive the fish and coral delivery couple day before weekend. So the best time to go shop is weekend.

Keen Reef: A lot of SPS and Clam. Seachem Reef salt is pretty cheap here.

Warehouse Aquarium: Rare fish, lot of large fish. I bought IO salt box(200G) for $39.99 last time I were there.

Atlanta Reef: Mix coral and fish

Einstein Aquatic: Check their website what time they open. Chris the owner run his store from basement of his house but worth to go over there. A lot of Australian coral and fish. He has breeding pair of McCullough Clown fish last time I go over there.

Nemo fish store - lot of fish at really cheap here. If you like fish do not miss this place.

I live in Atlanta now and I go to "marine fish" It is in marietta. Prices can be a little on the higher side but their specimens are Top Top quality. Great selection of fish and coral.

If you can go to canton georgia there is a place called imagine ocean that has a lot of frags. That's where i go to get frags....soft/lps/sps/etc

I contacted a store about a Pink margin wrasse-- forgot which one, but they said they would get it for me.

If you go up to Jenn's at Imagine Ocean, don't forget to go to Creation reef and Optimum aquarium as well. All 3 are really nice stores.

Verty timely post y'all. Thanks. Heading to ATL this morning. GPhiAce you did the work for me! The same EXACT question I had.

Thanks.

I actually just left a company called intec...and I am getting back to insurance...living in buckhead...i actually have pneumonia right now and its terrible. I have never been really sick...Ive never even broken a bone. So hospitals and breathing machines, and all these pills are...lol...well interesting and something new. I will say its good to be back posting on here...i still have my 120 gallon and i have some sps now...montis and a few others (pricillipora?). Its cool to watch corals grow quickly.

I'm baaack from ATL. Trip report:

I only found one available when I was there, mainly due to limited time, but I was impressed. (Not with their prices though.)

Marine Fish in Marietta had a good selection and their SALE prices were okay, but as a rule, i found them to be high. Nice stuff though. Good selection.

Fish Store and more, was out of business.

I wish I had more time for reefing while there, but that wasn't my primary mission.

Next time........

I will check them out. I got a trade with one of the stores for an ORA purple plasma for 3 rics, and another is ordering me a fish-- hopefully. I will be there 10 days, so I may be able to see a few. Thanks for the update.

What are you bringing me? huh, huh? Oh, that's right...all you ever give me is attitude.

I'm sure I can expect plenty of that when you get back.

I visited a few LFS while I was in Atlanta- 9 total and could not find 2 of them. I liked Marine Design, Keens Reef, and Atlanta Reef. Overall the selections were ok and so were the prices. The fish selection was ok at Marine Design. I went to Nemo Fish to look for fish and because they said they would have a pink margin wrasse for me-- they didn't and the fish selection was not good. I also picked up a few corals while in Chatt (thanks Tommy and Brandon).

felt like posting a few crappy pics, so deal with it. :)
gold tear drop from Atlanta Reef. They gave me a 25% discount and no tax. Seems odd to not have tax, but I liked it.
