Stores??

I lived in "The Fort" for about ten years and supported both Klaus and The Pet Store. Are they both still around and doing well?? When I first started going to Klaus' place (The Coral Reef - I think?!?), he was located next to Halls Catering across from the Coliseum.

If you want to see my handywork, go see the 240g reef tank at Fellowship Missionary Church on Tillman Rd. on the south end of town. I installed and maintained it. We even had a club meeting at the church one time. Many of the old clubbers got a few frags from that tank!!

Anyone know if Chris is still working at The Pet Store on Maplewood and Stellhorn (I think). I also gave them a lot of $$$. Anybody know him?? If anybody knows him, I'd like to get in touch with him somehow. Let me know please!

I was part of the club before it did the web site thing. Word of advice to all. Keep it simple. Use RC as your base. It the best advertising out there and has a wide variety of members world-wide. No need to do a website unless you get to be huge like BRS ...

Hey Freed!! Still want some orange digitata and green digitata from you. Keep up the good fight man!!

Chris is still around. I am not sure how he is doing though. I don't go there to often. Klaus is still doing good. I am looking to do a websit more for advertisement for the club in the area. I want to be able to do more with it at some point maybe though. I just thought it would be kind of fun.

If you could, tell Chris that James from Navistar said hey!! Would like to know if hius garage is still full to the brim with tanks!!

No kidding... Did he ever open a store?? Does Klaus' store (Coral Reef) still have good stuff?? I think it was on Anthony Blvd by the Hostess Oultet Store.... Still there??

Coral Reef still has great stuff, and is still on N. Anthony.

Any good shops up there by you?

Did you ever work with a Chuck Kasines? I know I butchered the last name.

No. None. Although Liveaquaria is 6 hours from here. I didn't make it to the frag swap weekend, but plan to next year. Bulk Reef Supply is in Mineeapolis, just south of me and shipping takes 1 day....very similar to how PA worked in Indiana. Very convenient. BUT, we have great snowmobiling up here!!!! ...and the bag limit on deer is 7 per person (buck, doe, fawn - if you're into that sort of thing....) My buddy got 3 plus one for me in one day. Got 2 in 1 hour!!

I don't recognize the name. I worked a majority of the time in the Styling Group, which was behind lock and key. Most of the percentage of the company was not allowed back there. Had a 5g reef tank on my desk back there!!

James...I currently work in the Process Development group at Navistar.

While I learned a lot working there, I have no interest in going back. That is why I say, "Good luck to you!!".. When I was there, the Union was just there...no good!! Now, they are simply weak and worthless. That company had such a warped set of morals and values, I felt my 10 years there had to come to an end. Cool thing is, I get a pension if you are still in business when I retire.... I hear Navistar is doing some hefty amounts of military work. Good for you!! It's funny, when I started, it was called Navistar and the stock price was $9.00/share... The ride was great, up to $50/share and now??? Go pat David Allendorph on the back and tell him I miss him a bunch!!! NOT!

Do you remember when Klaus was on E. State Blvd near Dairy Queen?
I have more orange digi than I know what to do with but never had any green digi. Good to hear from you again. Your hair any longer than it was when you were over here? Hehe

I know that when I was in Florida, I wanted to get some corals from you and it never materialized. Sorry. Maybe we can try again if you want to. My hair is still short and manageable....so is my son's!! :)

A block or two just west of the pizza hut and the Marathon gas/service station but on the north side of the street.

In the same shopping center as Fish Of Stroh and the Starbucks Coffee?? Are you saying his store was there before he went over next to the Coliseum?? Hmmmm...

One block east of that on the north side of the street. Drivin by you never would have given it a second thought that there would be coral and saltwater in there. Yes, was there before across from Scott's across from the coliseum.

Wow, that must have been before my time I think. Jeff, do you recall what year Klaus was in that building and had moved??

Oooooh, that's a tuffy. I was still a pup then, maybe mid to late 80's. Right around the time that Sea Dwellers was still up on Lima Rd.
