I was wondering if there were any stores here that buy and sell used equipment, looking to sell off some old equipment and upgrade a little. Any help would be nice :)

Welcome back to Albuquerque. To my knowledge none of the stores deal in any used equipment. Sometimes they will let you put up flyers. You could list your equipment here and see if any local reefers would be interested.

+1 for Southwest Reef Co. I've bought everything from them so far, very helpful staff, well kept tanks, good inventory, fast turn around on special orders. They're not close to RR tho, they're on menaul a bit east of the freeway.

Anyone know where Haunama Bay went?

what type of equ. are you selling, also what equipment are you looking for?

If you are looking for high-end equipment you will probably have to go online.

"Anyone know where Haunama Bay went?" out of bizz, but still dose tank mate. Around town, you may want to talk with Gary at Fins and Critters, I know they still work together they also sell used equipment there, I think as long as he can make some money he will do jest about anything he mite buy some of your stuff, wont give what its worth, but who dose anymore…

Hanauma bay storefront wise has been long gone for at least 5 years although Rob(no not sw rob u newbies) still does maintenance around town and has been active doing it since he closed his doors he is usually at swr at lest 1-2 a week..He generally has used equipment but doesnt avertise it, he sometimes takes it to fins and critters...

No stores down here carry nice equipment? That kinda sucks. Was easy to find good equipment down in miami for good prices. I'm not big on buying stuff online, it seems prices are higher online most of the time :/ where is fins and critters at?

Reign,
Thanks for clarifying that for us. On Tuesdays and Thursdays he is in the professional building at Lovelace. On Wednesdays he is at the professional building but he is up on the 6th floor. Friday he takes off so he can go to happy hours and he enjoys pina coladas and long walks in the rain.
