storing empty tank???

This might sound dumb, but how long can you safely store an all glass aquarium? does sitting emptyruin the seals, I know that heat would be an issue but if it were stored in a climate friendly enviroment would 9months be too long???

My big tanks have been empty for four years now, so I hope the silicone is still good:lol:
