You guy need to be watching the storms are coming your way. Memphis got hit real bad, and lots of Arkansas is in bad shape, you need to be watching the tv and believe what they say this is a bad one. Good luck to all..

man...i hate it that im at work when all the storms happen......i really need to buy of of the battery air bubblers

My parents live in Jonesboro, AR (NE Arkansas).....and the tornado sirens were sounding and they're in their storm cellar.

This may be a nasty one....so keep your eye out.

My fish are acting weird ... do you think they can sense the storrms ... my naso is dark and my foxface very pale.

Stay safe

I think the storms have gone through Jonesboro now, they just went through here and I am 50 Miles east of Jonesboro

I went through right after whatever hit west of Jackson. Trucks were all over the place on their sides. There were trees on trucks and a trailer up on the side of a bridge. It looked like a war zone through there. I'm just glad we weren't a few minutes earlier.

union university got hit really bad....2 of my friends are safe though, but please continue to pray for the staff and students, and people in jackson

We spent about 40 minutes hunkered down in the closet when the one cell came over us... We were looking at the weather online and Brian pulled up our exact address and overlaid the weather radar onto it, and the center of the sheer marker was supposed to go directly over us. It didn't really seem to make sense risking it after we squeaked by two springs ago when the one tornado went through "downtown" Ashland City with 4" hail.

Somehow, we managed to not get any of the baseball size hail that was dropping out of the cell, but we did have some minor wind damage (some small trees blown over down the road, shingles ripped off the roof, etc.) On the scale of things, we didn't see anything...

On a tank related note...there was one casualty. In the process of getting into the closet (which is the fish closet, so you can imagine the amount of crap that's jammed into it) I knocked into and broke a bulb. And of course, it was a brand new T5. Damn! :)

Wow, thats pretty crazy, Moriah. We were at our bathroom door waiting on an update because the sirens stopped, but we didn't receive an update from NOAA! They eventually canceled our warning (after 40 minutes of suspense). The cell lost power I think about 5 to 10 miles outside of town and shifted direction slightly. It was really intense! Plus it was my wife's first time hearing the sirens... so that didn't help any.

If it makes you feel any better, my wife sat on my UVL AquaSun the other day! But it wasn't a horrible loss as I had tried it out and just a Brian said, it was a really pink bulb... so I probably wouldn't have used it anyway. :D
