"Flo" is very bleached and in poor condition -- by the length (( or better yet, the lack there of )) of the tentacles it has already started to consume itself for energy. The tentacles should be at least 2 inches long.

Over skimming isnt always best, it can not allow a good consistant head of foam to form

what skimmer r u running on the 600g system?

Well I knew she wasnt doing great because I just bought her a few days ago from local fish store. Very poor conditions, but since having her she seems to be doing better. I dont know what else I can do. She is sticky and ate very well this morning so I will hold out and see what happens. Any other suggestions would be great.

And her tentacles do elongate but she is tiny. her foot is an inch at best her total length acroos is about 2 1/2 inches.

My favorite anem is the white sabae, It is not bleached. I promise you that. I have grown them from 3" to 10" and the color has always remained beautiful snow white with purple tips. The ones I had as a kid were the exact same. I am sure the carpet is bleached, but i know the sabae is not.
