Strange candycane

I was at one of the lfs today and seen a candycane that had orange spots on it.Has anyone ever seen anything like this. I don't know if it had some kind of disease or if that's just the way it looks.

Did they move? Could it be a kind of flatworm???

that is probably a branching lobophyllia, looks like candy cane when small and is common to find orange paterns on these, can you post a picture ?

it's gotta be flatworms. ive heard people refer to them as orange although most people say they are brown.

Sorry I can not get a pic.I was at the lfs when I seen it.I don't think it was flatworms b/c it was in a pattern like calero said so it could have been a branching lobophyllia.
