Stray voltage

Using a ohmmeter... If you look in the equipment forum on the main board they go over it... I've electrically challenged, or I would help..

I have running the same grounding probe for 10+ years.

They are cheap insurance. Not sure if I have ever had stray voltage, but for me it was more piece of mind.

Yes, probably a good idea test it first :)
The probe is used, as jay put it, a cheap "insurance" in case of any stray voltage from equipment failure. definitely not a fix.

My read is place ground of ohmmeter into ground of plug and hot into tank should be 0, will need to get a group no plug to be safe
