Hi guys,
Hey what are you all using for Stronitum testing? I use a Salifert, and was wondering if anyone else uses it or another brand.
Seems to be accurate, but boy what a PITA test to perform!!!!
Just curious if there's another brand out there that's any better and easier to use.

Thanks:thumbsup:

Yea, I think I gave up on testing for it. I can't ever get it to read anything and all the corals seem fine so whats the extra work going to do? Same with iodine, I forget which kit I have but its kinda crazy...

I have never tested for strontium nor do I dose it. Water changes and a good salt mix will take car of all but the big 3 trace elements (cal, alk, mag).

Nothing if your salt has strontium in it already which very good salt does. Regular water changes are all that is need to replenish strontium in the reef tank. I have been reefing for a while now and have never needed to or known anyone that has needed to dose strontium.
