I have a red tuxedo for 2 weeks now - he never picks up anything, but man does he take laps around everything. He must teleport or something. All over the tank. 20 years and this is the first one that I have ever had.

Both mine are reds as well. They can certainly boogie when they want to. You are observing grazing hopefully? Wearing hats is generally considered a sign of health and happiness for urchins. If you have any concerns, drop a piece of nori on him. Mine love it.

Yeah - grazes very well. Almost always moving... though this morning, he must be lazy, same general location for an hour or two.

I have a Pencil that was a hitchhiker on my KP live rock, a Petco Pincushion and a Petco Red Tuxedo.

The Tux and Pincushion are constantly moving around picking up hats. The Pencil likes to hide in the rocks. I suspect it comes out at night.
