Suggestions for tank(s)

Ok, I've come here often for ideas/suggestions and someone always has a better plan than me.
Hey if you are the smartest guy in the room, you are in the wrong room ... right?

I currently work where kids (elem age) frequent my office.
I currently have a 33 long with some soft corals and pair of clowns. Real simple setup but it is the hit of the building. The students love seeing "nemo" and the mean "lobster shrimp guy" ... coral banded shrimp.

It's been a while since I've had a tank without a sump. Was running a 60 cube at my house for the last two years and it was pretty much maintenance free.
Jeez, I forgot about the amount of "gunk" that filter socks catch.
The 33 long is more work than my 60 or 150 ever was. It is constantly dirty no matter how much I change water, add flow, scrub, etc.

The other issue is transferring buckets back and forth to the office.
Can't really set up a RO system at work.

So my current thoughts are ...

Keep the 33 long in the office and add an HOB overflow/sump but a little hesitant about doing that with little to no control on power outages and having a flood in the building wouldn't go over with the boss. Have they gotten more reliable? Never had anything but drilled.
However, keeping the current tank would save some money and I would just load it up with a ton of new corals but pretty limited in any new fish.

I could transfer the 33 livestock into the 60 cube. The only issue is that the stand is very high (not very conducive for kids). Not to mention the kids seem to be more attracted to longer tanks rather than cubes.

Or was thinking about selling both the 33 and 60 and picking up a 90, 110, 120 used and doing a FOWLR. Figured I could maybe get away doing just tap with dechlorinator (I know not a fan favorite around here) but would save my old back and the hassle of buying/driving around with the buckets.
Then add some larger fish the kids would gravitate towards.

What do you think?

I hate the idea of fowlr. Corals can captivate the minds of your students and that is what a school is there for. Stick with the 33 long and just figure out the filtration issue that's holding it back.

Depends on what you want but I ran a 30 gal SPS tank with all HOB filtration. I think it was an Aquaclear 90 that I used with floss and carbon and I had an Aquamax HOB-1 skimmer. At 1 point I had 12 fish and tank was clean as a whistle. I used to call it my ghetto tank. I did do weekly water changes of 3-5 gal but it was an SPS system I'm sure you could get away with less with a more conservatively stocked softy/nem tank.

Personally a clown nem combo with a few soft and LPS corals should be low maintenance-ish and maximum interest for students.
