I have a problem of high nitrite in the sulfur denitrator
Im cycling it for a month now, 4 drops per sec.
the nitarte reads 0 and the nitrite 0.5 and I dont know why is that?
maybe im doing someyhing wrong?

Such problems are not uncommon.

What is the nitrate in the aquarium? Is it dropping?

Reducing the flow a bit may help, but it is possible the right bacteria have not taken hold in the denitrator yet.

I set one of these up recently and found that its best to keep the flow rate 1 drop per second until the effluent is 0 for nitrate and nitrate. Then slowly increase the drip rate

... that would be the recirculation pump. The feed should be a Tom's aqualifter or a fraction split of the return pump. I do not recommend feeding the SD from the tank to sump return line (gravitational feed) due to the possibility of air ingestion. It doesn't need much input flow. If you do it you will just unnecessarily pressurize the vessel.

cheers,
Marian
