sump design

I like ej1698's sump, he doesn't run all of his flow rate through his fuge. Seems like a good, simple design to me. What do you folks think?

that is a disaster

the line to the left goes to my water changing station, so that I dont have to fool around with siphons

it was a good idea in theory, but cutting the mag12 down to 1/2" like that was hard on the pump, so I ended up capping off the left line and just using an mj1200 w/ vinyl tubing
