Sump flow back to tank

After great internal debate I think I may put a sump under my cube. (After I got my Deltec skimmer it seems huge hanging on the back of the tank. Everything is still dry so I have time to debate.)

I actually think after reading all the diy stuff that I might be able to make this myself. BUT I still don't quite get the very critical -part - on how the water gets back in the tank. I know I have to pump it back, and the sump pictures you diyers posted show the pump. But how? Do you have any pictures of that part? The actual pipe or tube that goes back in the tank?

My tank is not drilled so I have to use an overflow. I wish I paid more attention when Joe had it set up.

2 words..... "Drill It"
I would pay a glass shop to drill the tank If I were to ret it up all over again ....I would. I would also concider a calfo overflow When I had my deltec on the bask of the tank it didn't look that bad because I also had my light fixture kinda hiding it.

OK I just 'rediscovered' Melevs diy pages. I am not convinced I am going to drill, he shows exactly how to plumb a tank that is not drilled. This project is quite a bit more ambitious than my experience - but hey - I am not under any pressure, I think I am going to give it a whirl and just take my time. Either way I have to build my sump, so I can start there.
