Sump for 180

I have a 180 gallon tank I am starting to gather stuff for. I want to know what the recommended size for a sump would be for a 180?

I would say go as large as you can. My sump for a 180 is 36x18x18 (same size as a 50 gallon breeder)

I have a 6' X 18" X 18" ~90 gallons and then I have a 36" long sump. I am debating between the 2.
