Also I have not added any cheto yet I am thinking abought moving the skimmer to the rubbermaid and making the spot where the skimmer is now the fuge. My first idea was the other way around.. (Using the rubbermaid as the fuge)
But I think doing it in the white tub will help cut down the bubbles more.

O I also have 100 micron filter socks on the way.
(I dont want to run them but I might have to cuz the bubbles.)

Any info or ways to stop these bubble is greatly appreciated thanks. :)

The bubbles in the rubbermaid are not unusual considering its your return from the tank. The baffles in the skimmer area look like they are being overflowed negating their use. Raising the skimmer tub level with the rubbermaid will drop some of the bubble creation.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but is the skimmer tub low to accumulate the overflow excess in a power down? If so then you need to raise those baffles. IMHO

I think the baffles need to be staggered in height. You should check out Melev's Website. He explains very well how they should be setup. But some of the baffles need to be higher than the others. You can see where your bubbles are just sliding over to your return area.

Yeah you are right on the money on that one. When I added more water to the sump when I turned on the second return on. Cuz the retun section droped so much. Thats when the water started going over the Baffals. So it looks like more weld-on to lift the baffals that the water goes under. :mad2:

Yes the skimmer tub is lower to accumulate the overflow excess if the power goes out?

Hears a pic I just took running only 1 of the 2 returns.
I can run ether one of the returns with no bubbles, but as soon as I turn on the second retun on I get all the bubbles.

Is there any way to calm down the bubble in the rubbermaid?
(so there wont be as many bubbles going to the one with the skimmer in it)

Should I put my cheto where the skimmer is or in the rubbermaid?

I had a similar problem. Use your gate valves in the pipes that you have going into the sump and close them some to slow down the water flow, then you will have to adjust the water returning to the tank by using another gate valve. Your problem is that you have way too much water flowing into the sump.
