sump help

Looking to build a sump for an 80g tank what do you all think would be the best layout for this? Would probally want to make it a 30-40g. Should i include a space for a refugium as well as a protein skimmer? Any help would be great thanks

Here's the layout of the sump I did for my 80g. I used a 40 breeder and just silicones the baffles in place. To the left is my skimmer/drain section, the middle is the return pump/where I have the ato sensor and to the right is where I have the refugium section.

that looks good chris. I had forgot you had a new tank. and sump... ??:idea::idea: I might just have to study your sump a lil better and do it the same.

I don't think you can go wrong with a 40 breeder like Chris.

lol yea iv been distracted by a few things:beer::celeb3: and kinda put my tank to the side but looking to get back into it again.
