I have been building my sump for my fluval roma 90 and am trying to work out a bulkhead size for the tank - i am drilling into the top corner and mounting a weir box and in my sump i have a TMC V2 powerpump 4000 and have used the chart on the box to work out the flow at the head hight i have and it is 2800LPH
the guy in my local shop said i should probably half that again as its salt water rather than fresh water so if im working off 1400lph what size bulk head do i need for a natural gravity flow of aproximatly 1100-1300lph?
any help would be great guys! my head hurts trying to calculate it!
