Sump question

I'm setting up a 15g frag tank that will drain into my 29g bio cube display. I plan to put a maxi jet or something similar for return from the 29g.

My question is can I add a 10g sump? I was thinking I could "T" off the drain for half to go to the 10g sump and half to the 29g. With both the 29g and the 10g Having small return pumps (maxi jets) Will this screw up the water levels?

Another question is, since the 29g bio cube has a false wall with built in filter which would I get evaporation from the 29g bio cube "sump" or the 10g sump?

Thanks

I don't see why the tee would not work, just a matter of matching the returns form the sump and the 29. Sounds like it might be alittle trial and error.
As far as evap. you will probably see evap. from both. I know my little 12 gallon nano-cube had some evaporation. I had added a fan in the hood and then it had alot of evaporation. But you only see the evaporation back behind the wall in the sump area....So you may need to have top-off going to both the sump and the 29 behind the wall sump...JMHO but that is what I see when I pciture what your doing.

I already have auto-top off on the 29g but if it's trial and error I'll skip it, don't want to trade having a sump for floods. :)

Draw a little plumbing diagram. If they are all linked together you will only use one auto top off and one return pump. If you hook up two return pumps and they are in diffrent tanks you will overflow one.
