Sump/Refugium

I have a sump/refugium which Barrett made for the meeting we had at Homer Skelton Ford earlier this year. I've been storing some live rock in it, gave the live rock to Teena tonite. Anyway, it holds water for sure, but I never used it for its intended purpose. I paid Barrett $30 for it I think, he can correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to trade it for some zoos or something, but if someone wants it for $25 then I'll do that to. Just let me know.

I was looking to make a sump for my new 125 gal tank. If it will fit in my cabinet I'm interested. Let me know the dimensions and I'll get back to you asap.
thanks.

I just used the tank volume calculater on the Reef Central home page. Looks like the sump has quite a bit less volume than I estimated. Looks like it is actually 10-15 gallons. Sorry about that.

Thanks Ryan, but I'll need something nearly double that volume.
Looks like it's methylene chloride fumes for me!

Sorry Ryan, it will not fit into the stand. I will probably have to have a triangular shaped sump built!! That should be lots of fun.

Yeah, I saw a thread here on reef central where a guy built a bow front sump to fit in his bow front stand. It was pretty cool.

Vicki - I think a 36 gallon BowFront tank will fit inside the stand of the 54 gallon tank...you could use one of those for a sump.
