Sun Coral Placement

Lower flow patterns and shaded (i.e. under a hanging rock or similar) and away from anything that may sting it.

I would recommend the exact opposite (except for away from anything that might sting it).

These corals like high flow, and will open up more in higher flow. DO NOT put it under a hanging rock or in a cave, as these places usually have very little flow. If they are well fed, they don't care whether or not they are in a shaded area

Most importantly, you should place it wherever it is easiest for you to feed, and where food won't be easily stolen from it.

I agree. Mine did not open up until I gave it high flow. You'll just have to turn the powerheads off when you feed.

Mine prefer higher flow and don't seem to care about light so long as I'm not late with the Mysis. :D
