Sun Coral Tentacle Length

How does everybody get there sun corals tentacles so long, right now mine is more body than tentacle.

Its not a feeding issue or anything because i feed it everyday ever since i got it.

Is it that its just a juevanile or something else?

Mine get about 1 inch long at full extension. There max extension is after midnight when lights are out.

Mine just stay the same size all day and night

Well around 4 o clock they just kinda open a little bit

They still look closed but i can see there yellow polyps so i grab some food and feed them then they all open up

I figure if i do this long enough they'll learn to stay open all day long

I will try that, my photoperiod is from 2 pm to 10 pm w/ actinics from 11am to 11pm. They start coming out a bit by themselves at around 8 pm. I guess I will try your method, thanks.
