Just picked this guy up from a swap yesterday. Has been in the tank for about 22hrs and currently looks like this(as of 5 min ago):

is it good or bad?
Tank specs:
40 breeder
ati sunpower 6x24w T5s dimmable currently running from 0-50% while I acclimate the anemone and other frags.
hes currently sitting in the middle of tank (height wise) with some light to medium flow in a basket with some rocks. So far he has attached 80% of his foot to the rock he is currently sitting on. Oh and his foot was not ripped and his mouth is not gaping, so i assume that it is good.

This is his feeding response when i fed him earlier:

it does not look bad, but imo you should refrain from feeding it until it acclimates to your system. I would also consider maintaining at least a medium flow as BTAs typically enjoy good flow.

luv the fixture btw...I have two, 6X24 and 6X39 and swear by them....enjoy!

how old is your system?

yeah hopefully it grows and split. this is my first bta, but im feeling very optimistic about it. the nem settled in today and expanded fully for the first time since it was in the tank. it opens up to about 2 to 3 inches.

yeah its doing well but its acting so moody lately. he keeps on moving around and moving lower even thought my t5s are on 30% power.

They can be finicky Lil animals I got a maxi mini that moves every couple weeks
