Sunpod or viper lighting?

Im ready to upgrade the lighting on my nano. Just wondering what everyones opion is. Ive seen the viper lighting at the critter for 199.00 it looks nice but seems kinda cheap to me. The sunpod is 150 watts also but comes with 6 blue & 6 white leds. The buld is 14k MH what should I expect the hue of light to look like? The sunpod will cost me aroung 50 more but I know you get what you pay for.

A 14K is going to be a crisp blue, most of the time. Alot depends on the bulb/ballast combo. I'm running a 12K 175W SE over the frag tank and enjot the colors, even without actinic supplementation.

I have that sunpod on my nano... The pic makes it look more blue than it actually is, but I love the fixture...

I ordered it from DrsFosterSmith... If you type in the code UG-16882 they knock down the price to $37.79 instead of $41.99... I'm switching to SeaChem though... Only because ETRC went in on a big group buy, so I picked up 4 buckets at bulk rate... lol Hope that helps you save some money...
