Super Glue?

I just got a nice frag of some unmounted pinks about 15 polyps. Can I use the reef safe super glue gel to mount them on a rock or will they slime off? What other ways do you mount your zoos?

they tend to slime off, a rubberband might help. a low-flow area will help prevent them from coming loose.

WEll i had alot of zoas lose as mentioned without any piece of LR or LS on them and they had never rub off i use as mentioned CRAZY GLUE GEL but well it works better if you dry alittle the piece of LR with a paper towel and same as zoa colony in the bottom add glue bouth sides .. carefully press leave it there out one minute or so then put them on the tank in a low or non flow area so it will hardenas a rock and bualahhh new frag lol.. HTH

I always use superglue for my zoa frags. One time, I found myself with ~150-200 polyps loose in a bowl and without superglue, so I ran up to Home Depot and cleaned them out :p

When gluing the zoas down, I dab the zoas bottom dry with a paper towel or real towel (or my shirt, whatever is laying around) and also blot the spot they're going on dry. Works like I charm.

I've never had a problem using superglue or superglue gel on loose zoa frags i've received. My current favorite is the loctite gel because of the nice, non-messy bottle that doesn't clog up as easily as the tubes.
mushrooms are another story, they slime up so much that supergluing them is completely useless.

i got this superglue gel from marine depot, it works great for gluing zoos, i also tried gluing a couple shrooms and it actually worked!
