Supplementing LEDS

I'm having a hard time finding a used 8x39w or 6x39w dimmable t5 fixture so here is my other option.

I have a full spectrum LED fixture and i'm thinking about supplementing a 2 x 39w t5 retrofit (one on each side of the fixture). If you could only pick two, which two bulbs would compliment the full spectrum led fixture the most for growth and color of SPS? I know the blue+ but it really washes color out. maybe a blue+ and Purple plus?

What is your existing LED fixture? (is it controllable, how many channels, LED ratios)

The coral+ / Blue+ combination is always popular (and for good reason) but it really depends on your existing spectrum and what you want to archive.

it is controllable with the blues and whites on separate channels. I guess what i'm trying to achieve is that absence of spectrum from red/pink i think? basically what do people use to supplement a fixed spectrum MH when they only have the option of two bulbs?

I just added a T5 to my DT with a pair of Kessils. Gonna tag along.

I was told buy someone from Champion lighting that if you are only adding one or two T5's....each as a separate fixture....to keep the bulbs the same, esp, if it's one in the front and back of the tank. If the T5's are together and next to each other, then you can get away with mixing them up.

How many sides is the tank viewable from?

Id go with a blue plus and purple or coral plus if you can put them together in one side, blue plus if you only go with one type bulb

I just picked up a t5 fixture. =) I just missed the t5 feel for some reason. So feel free to use this thread for lighting combos

I dont think you can go wrong with a 12K bulb like ATI aqua blue special, ATI True Actinics and LED blue/Royal Blue.
