Supplements?

What supplements are you all using for your nano? I've had mine setup for just about 1 month now and haven't added anything. I mostly have zoos, and a few small LPS. Any recommendations?

Unless you're running needy SPS corals I would recommend keeping the dosing to a minimum. It's often way too easy to pollute these small tanks.


That being said... there are some things which should probably be added from time to time. Somebody with more specific knowledge on this can chime in here.

Use a good salt like reef crystals and you shouldn't have to dose.

If you have xenia or shrimp the drop of iodine here or there isn't a bad thing but the rule is not to dose unless you test for it.

Kalk topoffs are a good idea but I don't know jack about that.....
