Switch to np pro

I have been using many of your products for a couple months now and like them. So I wanted to pretty much switch to only AF products. My volume is 200 gallons mostly sps and I currently dose as follows,

Pro bio s- 8 drops per day
Coral A and V- 8 drops M,W,F,Su
Coral E and B- 8drops everyday
Coral powdery food- 5 spoons 3x per week
I also use comp 1+2+3+

I will switch to probiotic reef salt when I have used up my current salt.

I have just ordered np pro to use as carbon source to replace the all in one biopellets I currently use. My no3 is around 1 and po4 0.02. Should I start with 8 drops (full dose) np pro and remove pellets or should I start half dose even though I have been using a carbon source?

The pellets I use have a gfo in them, I did order phosphate minus incase I need to use this when I take the biopellets offline, however I am hoping I do not have to use it.

Is there anything you think I am missing and should add? I was not planning on using zeomix as my levels already are fairly low.

I forgot, I run carbon passivly in a mesh bag.

Great news ! :) it will be better to pass to the new products slowly. Use biopallets till they will dissolve and rise dosing of -NP Pro. To not to double carbon source products. Overdose of -NP Pro it is quite safe (it could "eat" you NO3 to zero... ) but observe always reaction of your tank. Start from half (4 drops). Just to remind you AF Amino Mix (coral A) and AF Vitality (coral V) use every other day after your light are off. If you have very stable tank with lot of corals it could be ok to dose it every day. As about Phosphates use for the beginning when you will switch Phosphate Minus. When you feed corals like you do even low levels of nutrients will be good. Suggested Dosing of AF products are made base of the amount of corals that you have in your tank. So if someone have 2 small frags in 200gal tank dosing will be different if someone will have 100 corals in the same tank... Not every corals like low nutrients system. Acropora corals yes but seriatopora, montipora, poccilopora or lps prefer to have some nutrients in the water. It is always our job as a aquarists to know needs of our corals :) Good luck and pls post some photos of your tank and corals.

Yes a and v I dose 4 times per week. I dose everything except pro bio s after lights out. I dose all the products at the same time at night... Is this correct or should I wait say 5 minutes btween each product?
My tank is acro dominant.

So you wouldn't recommend just taking pellets offline and starting maybe 3 quarter dose np pro.

Acropolis don't like fast changes - give them time.

Thanks for reply. So maybe just leave everything as is for another month, by then pellets would have lowered and maybe start with 2 drops np pro. Then as pellets lower more increase drops up slowly over time.
If I happen to get the raise in dosing np pro wrong and I start with too much with the pellets I would expect to see maybe a bacterial "snot" in tank? Or just complete drop off of nitrates?

Your plan looks great.
Yes, If You will have too much bacteria - You will have bacterial "snot".
