I plan to switch my substrate from crushed coral to sand. I have read that I should do it a little at once, but I do not have the time for that. I want to do it all today and I do not want to leave any crushed coral behind.
Questions are:
1. Is it ok to do it all at once? Will it raise ammonia and kill my fish?
2. What should I do with my fish, corals and live rock? Leave them in the tank or put them in a bucket? I have about 4 buckets available, will buy a rubbermaid bin if I need to.
