Switching mates???

Hey, thanks for helping in advance.
I have two pairs of clowns, and I want to switch the males so that I end up with a b&w pair, and a basic ocellaris pair.
The Problem:
The very aggressive female of pair 1 is the same size if not slighty smaller then the submissive male of pair 2. These fish would be paired.
The Question:
Can I pair these fish, or can I expect to see the male attempt to take the female role?

Well if you put a male and a female clownfish together, they probably won't change roles. I personally think switching is risky.
