I figured this is the best place to post this question. I have a 30gal cube that is full of corals that are doing well in the dirtier water that I have in it
Ammonia - .25 ppm or lower
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - around 5 normally
It's a mixed reef with all types of coral in it. My question is would there be any problems with switching all the corals to a tank with much cleaner water - all 0's since this new tank a 120gal and has a skimmer, gfo, carbon reactor and much more rock. Will it shock and possible kill off corals that have gotten used to dirtier water? Should I do a lot of water changes to get them ready in the old tank first to get them used to cleaner water?
